Rocna bow compatibility
This Rocna 20 fitted onto a Bluewater 400, a heavily built Australian cruising vessel. We fitted 65m of Grade L 10mm chain, 3 links between shackle & swivel. We also fitted a spare 50m of 16mm nylon 3-strand on a flanged reel.
From the front view it is apparent that the bow roller has a cotton-reel style roller. It will be better to have a slight cotton reel with slot in centre, this captures the stock on the roller and also prevents the chain twisting as it goes out.
